Things are just moving right along here! Seems as though winter isn’t all that far away, as we awoke to snow on Wednesday morning!
Griffin just loves to stand, so much so that he moves along kind of combination army crawl and knee crawl until he gets to the nearest object, and then he just pulls himself up. Thursday afternoon I went in to get him when I heard him talking after his nap. Most of the time he is already standing in his crib by the time you get in there, but if he isn’t, as soon as he hears or sees you he makes his way to the edge of the crib and does this:
We got Finn all suited up in his Astronaut costume and headed to the Spooktacular event at the Rec center in Dublin. We met up with Deven and Aarnov. It was a super cold night so we hung out indoors where Finn was able to pet turtles and check out the bug guy. We also ran into our friend Andy and two of his kids, Audrey and Ryan.
On Friday night Kevin and I went to a fabulous Halloween party hosted by Laura & James. It was complete with a game of Clue and Family Feud. Kevin found our costumes, Robinhood and Maid Marion, and he made our lovely pumpkin cheese balls! Thankfully Pat and Jim were able to come play with Griffin for the evening. He enjoyed all of the attention!
On Saturday I met a few friends at the Zoo for “boo at the zoo”. The kiddos wear their costumes and trick or treat at various stations around the zoo. It was super windy and really cold, so Finn was cuddled up and quite cozy. He even fell asleep for awhile.
We ended the evening Saturday watching the Bethune’s. Here you can catch a glimpse of Griffin and Greta getting some together time. They had a bit of fun when they weren’t crying at one another!
