What a fun week – Father’s day on June 16th, which was also Finn’s 3 month birthday! We like the number 16 around here!
Kevin’s dad and mom as well as his brother Brett and his fiance Missy came over on Father’s day for a nice cookout in our backyard. We all had a fun time and Finn and daddy enjoyed his new hammock. Here are three generations of Armstrong boys! The pictures can tell the story.
Cameron was smelling the flowers, thought it was rather cute!
Here is Finn posing next to his car on his 3 month birthday with pals Cameron and Lily!
Finn is really loving walks outside. He is all smiles lately and really loves to make noises with his mouth. He blows bubbles and mimmicks noises we make at him. For the first time this week, he put my thumb in his mouth and chomped down on it for a good five minutes. In the end I had drool all down my arm! Look at our lil man, simply adorbs!
Taking up a bit more real estate on the changing table these days!
We headed up to Mansfield on Friday night for a weekend with the family. It was our first overnight road trip with Finn. He did pretty well, but overall wasn’t too into sleeping for a large portion of the weekend. Perhaps the new environment intrigued him such that he didn’t want to miss anything, therefore he was awake more than he should have been! We had a fun time celebrating Father’s day with my dad, since they were out of town last weekend for Father’s day. Here are all of the kiddos enjoying their visit. And dad is pretty stoked about his new tools!
Saturday evening we laid Griffin down before we had dinner. I went up to check on him and when I walked in – look what I found! He was on his tummy, yep, he rolled over! Uh oh…fun times ahead!
Once they can roll over you aren’t supposed so swaddle them with their arms inside so this coming week may be a fun one. He still tends to startle and wake himself when his arms aren’t wrapped down. We decided perhaps he wouldn’t be able to roll over if we put some speed bumps in his way 🙂
And finally, now that Amy and I are no longer prego we needed an updated family photo that included Griffin and Greta. Amy (and Andy, ha!) captured a nice one!
